    hard primal battle boost

I'm finding that parties just die quickly if duty finder fights don't go well right off the bat.

I don't know if this is a bad idea, but it's an idea.

I was thinking what if you added a stat bonus (10%(just throwing something out there)) if the party has died over say 3 times in the first 30 min. Upon the 3rd+ wipe if it's 30 min into the fight it would give you the boost.

I feel 30 min is a pretty good time to aim for. it's far enough away, that people wont take advantage of it, and close enough that it would give parties a short term goal "see how the DD is going for the first 30 min" try it once and see if it's easier.

I felt 25min was a better number, 30 just sells better, I like 25 though.

There is a feature like this in the main story solo instances, called "echo." It is my understanding that this will be added to older content as new dungeons and raids are realised, to make it more possible for new players to catch up. So yeah, this will be happening.

no boost but lowering clones's HP a bit would be perfect

ah yeah, I probably had it in the back of my mind. I remember reading it now.

Given that the number of people being blocked by HM Titan is already far less than what SE was expected, I don't think they want to make it any easier, maybe until they add iLevel 100 weapons.

This isn't meant to be a "dick" question, more to understand where you're coming from, but what problem are you trying to solve by easing the difficulty level after x number of minutes?

Is it to encourage people to stay in Duty Finder groups longer?

Honestly, I'm not sure what mechanics you could throw in there to alter player behavior, and I'm skeptical that you can do much to to help that. What I would like to see though is the option to fill party members like they have in dungeons, the ability to select whether you want to join a run in progress, and the ability to pull in a friend if someone drops.

My hunch is that it's not that the entire DF group wants to drop after a few wipes, but once you see one person drop there's really no other option, which might make it seem like more people are throwing in the towel too quickly all at the same time.

The biggest problem with Titan is the Weight of the Land. If you're right in the middle of one when it appears no matter how quickly you move you're likely gonna take damage, and if you have even the slightest lag then you're guaranteed to take damage. It could do with lasting a 0.3 or 0.5 second longer.

I'm going to disagree with you (sorta). The biggest problem...with any of these fights is that fresh 50's jump straight in without knowing the fights. I'll give some slack on titan because, especially when undergeared or even right at whats reasonable geared for the fight, one wrong move and you just ate a bomb or plumes or something and your dead.

The worst for the fight is a fresh healer to the fight. my first i'd say 5 attempts with Titan was pretty brutal definitely a mechanic and gear check for me. Once you learn the pattern it's easy...people don't try and learn the fight prior (i'm guilty of this as well).

I don't think making fights easier is fair when it's not the fight thats the problem but the people doing it. I 4manned Ifrit the other day, WITHOUT stuns because the rest of the group died off right after nails. If we could finish that fight with only 4 people why can't 8 do it every single dang time.

Don't make fights easier....LEARN THE FIGHTS

I think that one is just designed so that your taking damage unless your on the ball with it.

I just barely escape from that one, and I'm usually watching the cast bar cause I tank.

I imagine though it's probably harder for healer. I haven't done it yet, but I usually just target the tank to make it eaiser, it might motivate me to target titan himself and sub target to cure the tank.

I move my target bar right above center of the screen though, so I can keep an eye on the casting bar while I fight. could give that a try if you're not already doing that.

Once you learn the rotation (even one cycle is enough to get the hang of WOTL if you only focus on their timing) you can pre-emptively move. I ALWAYS get lag when I hit Titan HM for some reason. I just move to the side and away from other party members when I know it's coming, I'm already moving and I won't run into one when it drops. EVERY fight in this game has mechanics that need to be learned in order to beat them, and that's all Titan requires too.

With any of the fights in the game, an extra 0.3-0.5 second timer won't make as much of a difference, because it is knowing WHEN they are coming that will save you.
