Those saying there are avenues to lower CC duration use them, you're ignorant of the fact that when you cater to PvP only when fully geared you cut the fun out of the lesser geared section completely and you don't get an influx of players at all due to the system currently is inherently broken.

WoW has CC durations perfect and every MMO who wants to have a successful PvP metagame should follow the simple basic rules of MMO PvP.

didnt you see the pvp community die on Wow during pandaria because they wanted more pve players playing pvp. they casualized it so much people started using pve gear over pvp gear. give me back arenas the way they were back in WotLK where you had to ltp in order to get better gear. not just log cap some point and eventually get ELITE gear.. pff.

WoW's pvp was many many things. Perfect was not one of them.

It was very common for me to lose fights on WoW where I was unable to move during the entire fight. So you can say what you want about sleep, but at least they can't beat the crap out of you during it like most of WoW's annoying CC.

Endless stun locks, fear spams, frozen... diminishing returns means nothing if you die in a matter of seconds. WoW's pvp sucked.

paladin shield stun x3 after 3 sleeps is fun

As a drg, I have no complaints. I can burst down a healer in under 10 seconds if I use all my CDs properly. Once people start learning strategies, like casting blizzard and using Feint on the healer, PvP will be a lot of fun for melee.

this guys gets it, team comp and coordination. thats what arena is all about

I have blm/drg both geared and played both for PvP, and I have ZERO problems with cc, I think it's implemented quite well. If you're getting chained cc then no other way to tell you this but your just bad... no joke.

Don't forget there's abilities, materia, potions, food and morale that counter all CC. This thread has no purpose and just a whine.

I find that hard to believe. Really I do, who do you mostly play? The blackmage? Be honest, did you try the dragoon just once, and then decided ok this is decent dunno what this whiney player is talking about Melee isn't gimped lolz.

u need to look at the whole pic, just not ur class. Dont get me wrong I dont like the way the pvp is either, but after 3 hours of play melee is no wear gimmped. As a monk I understand thaf u can be kited im a blm did it all morning that ur class weakness now a dragon holy cow they jump at across the field stun ur butt and then kill u. All caster are having a huge problem with not getting off a good attack because we interrupted all the time thats are weakness now pvp stat will off set this for u at we are hoping being tested im just trying each class has a weekness and strength just look at wgole pic not just ur class I understand what they did could they have done it better omg YES WAY BETTER and for the name get over it its a name that u cant see on urself u think ir in grade school teacher teacher he called me a bad name omg get overslefs babys I swear

i have point out this issue 2 month ago. Pvp won't work if they don't fix animation lock issue. We see the problem for pve too. When mob start move , you can't hit them.
