Thread: [PS3] Game constantly crashes after patch 2.1

Freezes are way more frequent after 2.1

2.0: I'd rarely get one. Maybe once a week.
2.1: I get several per day. I got 2 freezes back to back on the day 2.1 started.

I've been having crash issues on PS3 since 2.1 as well. Prior to 2.1 I froze 6 times total in the span of 2 months.

Post 2.1, it has froze 8 times. 2 times in a DF dungeon. 4 times while teleporting to my Home Point. 2 times while standing in a highly populated area (Steps of Nald and New Gridania).

I turned off all effects for others and party set to show limited. Seemed to help slightly, but still it froze once after I did that.

I can concur with this. I have been getting freezes a lot after 2.1. Crashed yesterday during a guildhest, was not really happy about that. Caused my party to wipe and my linkshell to be...not quite happy with me. ^^; Crashing when changing areas is also normal. I checked my PS3 and its definitely not that...

Well yea I like the game of course...
I'm just saying I would've quite after the free trial period if the game was pretty much not working or stable on PS3
But surprisingly it's a stable MMO unlike DCUO "why it went F2P" lol

I have been having issues for about a month now but it definitely has increased in occurrence since 2.1. My gf never had a freeze until after 2.1.

There appears to be no pattern. I have frozen in instances, walking, standing, and teleporting. However prior to 2.1 it never happened in an instance.

Glad its not just me but now it needs fixed or at least acknowledged.

Never crashed or froze before 2.1
Now I crash or freeze or BSOD in between 30min to 4 hrs of game play.
All my drivers are up to date.

Same thing, on Excalibur. Playing 12/23 around 5:15am CT and game froze when going from New Gridania to Old Gridania.

Had to hard shutdown PS3, then system check, and loaded back in.

Very frustrasting....

Needs addressed!
