Thread: [PS3] Game constantly crashes after patch 2.1

I have experienced the same issues ... PS3 crashing either entering a new zone or teleporting. And only recently, during boss fight in WP.

This has been happening to me more frequently as well. I play a lot of other games on my ps3 and don't have this problem at all. I also have only had this happen to me once pre patch and three times post patch. I should mention I've only been playing a few hours post patch as well.

Same problem here. All my freezes are associated with teleporting.

Yea had 2 client crashes within 10 min resulting force shutdowns
getting the PS3 system restore notices and what not

The game was stable prior to 2.1 the reason why I stayed subbed for over 2 months now

It happens to me too. I tend to crash during events. A nightmare when it happens on Twintania or the extreme primal. Forces me to have to hard reset

Same here too, and today 4 times in a row in 20 min of game, limnsa market, gridania inn, ul'dah GC and chocobo ride, specifically the problems started after the launch of christmas event.

Also having this issue on PS3. (Slim console, not sure which exact version though.)

It's frozen I think once since the patch before last night... then last night it froze three times. Once less than five minutes probably since I logged back in (and after I'd unplugged the console for over half an hour and had a fan running on it in case it was an overheating issue.)

Notably, each of those freezes was in Gridania (or when teleporting out of it). Once I remember I was near the aetheryte just walking around, once teleporting out of it to Camp Drybone, I think the other one I was either just walking around or maybe opening a menu. And I think the other freeze (that I can remember) was in zoning out of New Gridania into the inn room there.

Last night I decided to give it one more shot and teleported OUT of Gridania as soon as I logged in... and no more freezes after that point, and I played for probably 3-4 hours afterward. (Yeah, it's anecdotal, could be coincidence... but it's a data point.)

My PS3 has been freezing up recently after the big patch, and I am getting it randomly either looking at the market board or zoning, even riding my chocobo, I hope they can get this resolved.

I'm on Balmung on ps3 and teleport freezes me too. I'm quite sick of it actually.
