Thread: [PS3] Game constantly crashes after patch 2.1

World: Balmung
Hardware: PS3 Slim CECH-3001B
ISP: Verizon Fios
Location: Teleporting from Mor Dhona to Limsa Lominsa, Ul'dah Steps of Nald, Old Gridania, Crafting in Quarrymill
Note: These freezes are unusual. Usually the game will kick me out to the main menu but I cannot do anything in these freezes except hit the power button. These freezes occurred over the course of 4 hours. I thought it might have something to do with the Starlight Celebration but my game was not freezing yesterday.

I'll just count my luck for not freezing so far. I hope it gets fixed for all of you.. Hopefully I don't get it too. x_x

I have the same problem too. There is no specific location. I have frozen in every location I have teleported too. I am on Behemoth.

Freezed again. I have noticed for me it is constantly freezing after using the Party Finder. After a few mins the screen would freeze and another hard reset. This is after 1 hr of game play.

I just started getting freezes today. 4 so far all while crafting with my weaver in Limsa. Keep losing high lvl materials because of this.

5th freeze just happened. Again in Limsa. For the second time while crafting Wolf Trousers and losing all materials with the freeze. Getting really pissed right now.

It froze on me today :/ had to hard reset, and it had crashed out of the game one other time.

Server: Exodus
Trigger: Teleporting from Bentbranch Meadows to Quarrymill (causing the hard reset)
Trigger: Returning to Fallgourd Float (resulting in the game crash to the start screen)

this is happening on my ps3 AND pc now. gosh.

I had this problem yesterday as well. PS3 brick twice within a couple of hours. First one after only 3 minutes.

The ps3 did this occasionally before patch 2.1, but I think we can clearly state that it's happening a lot more often after patch 2.1.

I hope SE looks into this, 'cause it's very annoying when this happens during crafting.
