So far I caught a Timeworn Boarskin Map while fishing and waiting for the Crystal Tower FATE to spawn.

So far my only complaint is that when the treasure map is deciphered it shows you where to dig on a small map AND tells you which zone to go to. I think being told exactly what zone to dig in defeats purpose of hunting the treasure. Could we get this feature removed so that we are only given a small picture of the general location?

I'll post what I get as a reward when I get around to finishing it.

Edit: Even for a solo fight ALL members of your party must be in the area.

What gathering class did you get your map on? I was wondering how it works on Fisher since it is random and getting a treasure map prevents you from getting more for several hours.

Also how many members did you have in your party? I'm wondering if gil/stones split among how many are in the group.

I was fishing in Sapsa Spawning grounds. Of course I had a full party of 8 when the drops happened. Even though it was a solo map it was required that all party members be in the same zone.

I did an 8 man hunt yesterday. I only did it with 4 people but we could have done it with less. There were several waves of 3-5 mobs, but they all had pretty low hp. It might be a little harder to solo, but it is easy with 2-3 people. I have no idea why they thought you would need 8.

I got a map last night while mining. I can't remember which kind, but it pointed to Coerthas. To be honest, it was tough to locate the position on the map even knowing which zone it was. The picture was just a generic looking corner. If I didn't know it was Coerthas I could be looking for it for a very long time.

I got 1 steel ingot, 2 mythril enhanced inks, 5 philosophy tomes and 1400 gil. And it was a one man fight.

Does anyone know if you take more than one person into a solo hunt, does the reward get split between them, or does everyone get the full reward?
