Just read a pointless thread 5min ago, so I decide not to read this one. Sorry to everyone, I shouldn't have let my mom on the forums, she rambles about nonsense.
I laugh at all the small FC, my FC mange to gather up 5million gil in a week before the patch.

This game is a product, being sold for money. It is a service. It is a business.
As such customers have every right to express their dissatisfaction with the service or product.
Of the two primary complaints, only one has any business being here. That of customer vs. product.
Your complaint, is that you simply don't like criticism. Of the two issues, yours is easily the less important. Yours is an issue of selfish control for superficial reasons. You have a hang up about criticism toward the things you enjoy.
The critics, are angry over what a company wants them to spend money on. Telling them to "relax" is the opposite of helpful. Game companies don't need people defending them. Square-Enix is a multi-million dollar company, concerned with making money. They aren't your friends, or family.
If anyone needs to relax, its people up in arms over criticism, of something you had no part in making.

The critics are angry because they thought that saving up a paltry sum of money for a couple months would get them a house. Guess what, it didn't. Yes this game is a product, but just because you're paying it doesn't mean you get everything you want your way. If you want a game where your money buys you exactly what you want, hop on a free to play game, that's their whole reason for existing. People forget this is a complex game where decisions might be made for the greater good and it might clash with your personal desires. You're free to criticize, but that doesn't make your criticisms valid or worth responding to.
I agree with a lot of what you say. Except for this part. I've seen the small house in the live letter, and it looks like a studio apartment. As in room for one person. It's tiny. And still expensive. You could do have 100 people throwing in millions to buy a bachelor pad.FC housing was designed with the SOLE PURPOSE in mind to handle 100-500 people contributing to it with a little work. Those of you in small FC's like 1-2 people maybe 5-10 um your out of luck they simply were not made for you, go join a bigger FC if you really have to have a FC house. or wait on personal houses.
Fallacy: False Dichotomy. Either we have to be MMO designers, or can't complain. Reality: I don't need to be a bus driver to know that driving a bus in the lane with oncoming traffic is bad, and similarly, I don't need to be an MMO designer to know that pricing content beyond the reach of players to hide the fact that your servers can't keep up is also bad.
Asking people to make constructive suggestions, to keep criticism focused on the work and not the person, and so on is one thing. Telling people that they don't have a right to complain on the official forum of a product, the main avenue for communication between developers and the customers, is another. You won't stop people doing it, because this is exactly where they should be complaining. Using a common fallacy to try and shame people into stopping is just bad form.
Please try harder, and work toward constructive contributions to this community.
