but, but the OP has hard facts like "everyone" and FC housing was designed for 100+ member FCs to achieve it with ease. /end sarcasm
Welcome to the internet were everyone calls you a white knight everything must be hated and ridiculed to the utmost extremes where any kind of reasoning isn't their it the my way or highway mentality. The gamers' of today are somewhat also the problem with the instant gratification mentality they will be doomed to hoping from game to game expecting stuff handed to them and if they hit a barrier that the dev's put up for that game all hell will break and the end of the world will happen.
The developers not just SE are also part of the blame too, they help made this type of mentality happen over the course of years to where we currently are in today's so called mmo standards. Real mmo's are part of the past know it pretty much a console game with a multiplayer slap on front of the game box know and days.
We... don't... care...
Anytime SE makes a change, some people will be happy and some people will be upset. They changed a lot of things, so there are a lot of upset people. Unfortunately, people are most vocal about their complaints and not their praises.
Overall, I'm quite happy with the patch. I don't agree with everything, but I would say 90% are for the best.

Since I am not sure how to multi quote I will have to do it this way. and I mean't mostly everyone
Sayura - Yes FC's are able to be made with 4 people but with what the DEV and Yoshi said that if all members were to contribute in 3 months time at 20k a day they could afford a FC, if you do the math it does not work out with 4 FC members doing that, it takes a lot and the prices were done around that and with existing GIl on the server. It is obvious they did the research and this is how they intended it
Mishini_Dracoto - I never once said anything about people complaining about bugs and glitches, those got to be talked about so the staff knows whats happening, Im talking about things that that were intentionally changed and most likly won't be changed back complaining about them is useless, we knew cross class spell changes were happening for example.
It's sad people actually never read stuff and only skim through it and miss half of what is going on.
Everyone has a right to voice there opinions but complaining there is not enough hairstyles for one is silly, they have bugs and glitches to fix not worry about adding more hair which will be done later anyways not to mention such post drown out important ones and risk the possibility if getting missed.
I am not trying to call anyone out or put anyone down, was just making a point of a lot of silly and unneeded posts ( good-bye threads another example) is a waste of time which I know a bunch of you feel about this one but thought it was important to tell you guys to back of a bit were all only human and calling the staff and each other names or threatening to quit if something is not fixed to there liking is childish and I know you all agree.

On one hand the OP says that people need to stop complaining.. then later says that the staff needs to listen to the complainers and do what they say.
how does that work?
People are complaining because they had hopes too high, yet Yoshida is beeing an assh*le since 1.0, singing us pretty stuff like : "YOU WILL HAVE UNDERWATER DUNGEONS, YOU WILL HAVE FULL DUBS, YOU WILL BE ABLE TO SWIM AND FLY, SERVERS ALL AROUND THE WOLRD" yet just fails with stupid excuses. I was too hoping for new haircuts and that's how they sold it but it's all just fake. You can't even change eyecolours yet the Alchemist is able to craft lens, how logic is that ? You need to freaking go do stupid buggy fates in order to unlock dungeons, how good is that ? You have to beat Titan extreme if you wanna enjoy the story, how stupid is that ? I mean seriously, they aren't even listening a bit to the community, yet we made it so far from 1.0 to 2.0 and now it keeps regressing, i'm so sad. And i won't even talk about the PvP, when i saw the BLM can sleep you for 25 seconds as you were a mere mob, never saw that anywhere else.
It doesn't. The forums are one of the main ways to provide feedback to a company. Similar to being able to give a product a bad review on Amazon. MMOs are more complex, however.. so each feature is kind of like it's own product. When people are displeased with something it's good that they voice their complaints in a constructive fashion. Which I have seen a ton of people do who then just get dismissed on the grounds that they were complaining in the first place (Usually with "lol you just want easy mode" when that's not even at all what was asked for, or.. you should be thankful you have the game to play at all!). Forums typically are home to a ton of complaints, the forums here are not at all that different from forums for Rift, WoW, Tera, and various other MMOs at patch time. This (patch time) is probably the one time when a company should really just dismiss most of the complaints that are here and there things (like the class nerfs).
The one difference would likely be housing. When you have a community that is for the large part (it will never be everyone) united, even across language barriers, it's usually an indication that you've angered/disappointed/lost trust with your player base (again, in general, does not mean everyone), which when designing something that needs to appeal to a large mass of people to stay competitive and alive, is kind of important not to do. That would be the time to look for logical arguments for and against, and really pinpoint what exactly the issue is.

i admit i'm wrong... sorry SE
ty for bringing 2.1 for me
my hopes for 2.1 is high up to the heaven
since its only up to 2 storey house height, i'm very much didnt get all the hopes
anyway ty![]()
You could mean whatever you want and still not be right. The people that post here on the forums are a mere fraction of the in-game community. And the people who dislike certain things (and it is FAR from mostly everyone) are a fraction of the forums community. So basically it is a fraction of a fraction and a portion of the community usually referred to as 'the loud minority'.
I think the SE staff does a brilliant job at thoroughly thinking through their decisions. Am I happy that a large FC house costs 600 million gil? Hell no I'm not. That doesn't mean that it won't benefit the game in the long run. A) It gives them a resource to look for gil sellers and gil buyers and B) It gives them a chance to balance the economy.
But even if I like it or not, SE has proven that they ARE listening as Devs and Yoshi himself respond to the reactions. His in-depth reply shows how much thought really gets put into this type of decision and that it is not just to piss people off.
