    Normal Mode & Hard Mode Dungeons?!

    Greetings,

    As most of you already know dungeons should be coming out soon. I for one am excited to see the challenges that lie ahead. However, I do have some questions regarding these dungeons.

    My first question is why is there only a Rank 50 "Full Party" Dungeon and not a Rank 50 "Light Party" Dungeon? Same goes with the Rank 30 Dungeon. Why is there only going to be a Rank 30 "Light Party" Dungeon and not a Full Party Rank 30 Dungeon?

    In my honest opinion this makes me question the Dungeon/Battle designers in what they are thinking. Why not have them both? Light Party dungeons can be for normal modes and Full Party Dungeons can be for hard mode (Yes, I know i'm going to get hell for using a WOW terminology but whatever). Why not have them for both Rank 50/Rank 30 Light and Full Party? Have both set ups on normal mode for all I care, just don't screw over low levels and high levels alike.

    My second and final question is, are we going to be stuck with a Full Party of eight for the rest of this games life? I would like to play with many players not just the same eight people all the time here and there. When you only have eight people in your raid I get a bad feeling that everyone is likely going to be picking the "ELITE" eight most of the time and that doesn't give others a chance to try. I will be honest though and say that I would like the best of the best in my group as well but I also believe that this is exactly what will make players even more Anti-Social in this game. The whole point of a mmorpg is to experience the game with many players and not just stick with a little group.

    We need some sort of tension in this game. Commanding a group of eight or less is too easy. There is way to much room for mistakes and it should be less. By having more players in a raid group it creates anxiety and unit cohesion all in one. Of course this should coincide with something more difficult.

    P.S. If this has already been discussed about I would like to apologize. If not please let me know what your thoughts are. Thank You. Oh a response from the Community Reps/Dev would be great as well!

    Yeah I hope Yoshi brings back the 15 player parties not as a regular dungeon, but as raid content. Otherwise the game will just fail o.o.

    This is FFXIV, the only acceptable thing is Easy Mode.

    Why not just make it all hard-mode? Everyone is saying they want challenging content, so why even bother with easy-mode?

    I think we all know what the outcome would be though. Fact is, people say they want one thing but mean another.

    8 mans = raids

    Easy to implement, they already have a star system which increases the mob level. They could just allow it to not only increase the level for dungeons, but increase the usage of some spells/abilities, new spells/abilities, different mob spawns, etc.

    If "raids" consist of 8 man max parties this game will die faster than it is already. We can all understand they are catering to a casual playerbase here but limiting the interaction between whole linkshells is really piss poor. I want to raid with 15 or 16 of my linkshell friends not have to pick and choose each time I want to run a dungeon.
