We just need Dps meters like Recount for WoW, so we can see peoples performance if isn't good.15 man chaotic zerg fests? No, thanks. Behests are actually fun now that party sizes are smaller.
I'm glad that WoW stopped focusing on gigantic raids. Back in the 40-man days, it was a given that at least 5 people were asleep at the wheel. When it changed to 10/25 mans, 25-man raids were still easier than 10-mans. The difficulty may have been tweaked, but the truth is that you can still hide inside a 25-man group. In a 10-man raid, every person has to pull their weight.
I'd rather have 4 man and 8 man content.
Kicked.

really? behests are fun now? they are not any harder then they where before, and now they net less rewards. 8 people does not a raid make. Im sure they could design 16 man content that isnt a zerg fest and dub it raid content, if you dont want to be a part of it then stick with the 8 man dungeon.15-man chaotic zerg fests? No, thanks. Nah you only need 8, You, BFF, BF's(6), you can't possibly have more than 6 best friends. If "raids" consist of 8 man max parties this game will die faster than it is already. We can all understand they are catering to a casual playerbase here but limiting the interaction between whole linkshells is really piss poor. I want to raid with 15 or 16 of my linkshell friends not have to pick and choose each time I want to run a dungeon.

I am hoping for a dynamis like area with a max of 64 people in alliances. If "raids" consist of 8 man max parties this game will die faster than it is already. I really hope it isn't overworld or rather claiming against one another. This isn't FFXI, even with the really fast and nice respawns on the current NMs, that'd still suck. Even something like sky or sea, where things are relatively spread out still sucked because you would bud up with other LS's. Limbus style, salvage, etc. those were nice and refreshing.
I believe 15-16 people would be just fine for a raid/dungeon. But 8?! That is way to easy to manage. With the new system i'm assuming things will be easier with AA and what not. There has to be some form of difficulty in this game and there is not at all.
Like I have stated earlier many players want to play with their friends and all their members in the linkshells.

I really despise lowmanning things, and I pray they have some kind of alliance feature in the future.
8 people is way way too low for any kind of endgame.
There is nothing epic about lowmanning things.

8 members in a party is not too low. When you had 15 members, the individual contribution of any one person was too low and it led to people not being invested in the fight.
With 8 people, each person contributes a little over 10% to the fight, and each individual can make a significant difference in overall party effectiveness.
Probably because 1 healer could keep the entire group of 15 alive. Split the groups and allow alliances and the tactics will be different. Honestly allowing massive AoE heals with the same mana cost as a single heal was a retarded decision in the first place.8 members in a party is not too low. Content designed around a certain # of people is relative. When we're talking about simple tank and spank fights like all we've seen so far, of course contribution per member is going to be low. All you do is taunt, heal, and spam your WS BR's. There are alot more interesting ways for large groups of people to participate in a fight.
Where the horsebirds at?!
