monk dps now

ok tested a bit on dummy and dmg is quite higther then before but i seem to parse way lower .wondering if its the parser (ffxiv-app) that isnt up to date or what.

before patch i was at about 300 dps,now i seem to be around 260-270 like wtf....

edit: DOT seem to be completly ignored now.puting the 3 DOT,i step back and parse didnt count the DOT at all

i hear parser always had issues with DOT readings and with new patch usually add-onds dont work fully as intebded until they update the add-on

So they have to fix it I notice that to so you know you doing more than 310

ffxiv parser is probably the worst thing you could ever use, you could get a little lalafell and have him type down every damage and he would do a better job :/

There is a damage tracker in PVP, try to parse in PVP and see if you are getting the same number (the total damage done instead of the DPS). I'm sure someone is going to figure out how to make the in game damage tracker work with a third party parser sooner or later.

It's not the parser's fault that the damage isn't reported properly in the combat log

Here is what I got from a quick parse.

ok the ffxiv-app got few update since patch and they count DOT now.i tested it on dummy today to see how hight the update affected the monk dps and that my result.

before patch i was at around 290-300 dps

after patch my first few attempt i was at 320,did few more and i was reaching 335 dps ewach time

both using PB as opener (i tried it with burst and it was similar but the start is way slower)
with 7 ilvl90 before patch and 8 ilvl 90 (hero belt) after patch
no food no str pot.
doing dmg until i run out of TP using invigorate
im using fracture on my rotation (i tested without and i end up at about 315 dps but using fracture i spiked higther then 320 dps while buffed and without,i didnt went higther then 320)

overall,pretty higth dps increase

Hello my fellow MNK's out there. I really am new to MMO's and have really gravitated towards DPS and MNK for that matter. And a friend of mine in my coil group parsed me at 327 dps for 3min, on the lvl 50 dummy in Whitebrim. I have 12/12 i90, with this set-up: http://na.finalfantasyxiv.com/lodest...acter/2327515/. I know it's not BiS but seems to be getting the job done. Not sure if I need to tweak my rotations but any pointers would be great. :-)
