    :/ i liked the overpower windup.. ive never once felt like overpower was too slow, the targets in range are determined at the time you push the button. you can hit overpower and turn around immediately and the correct targets would still be hit. I kinda feel like removing all cool animations is taking a huge step back. We'll never have any interesting animations if they need to be complete in less than a second.
    it'll be like hyaa! mega swing!..... hyaaa super mega swing! (still just a swing, but this time the there are SPARKLES!)
    Anyone that played ffxi will remember how sad it was to have 5 or 6 weaponskills with the exact same short animation but a different particle effect. But then also remember how awesome it was to get a long effect like blade:ku

    Make it like ffxi where the damage and status is calculated when the button is pressed and let the animations play. That way a long animation wont hinder stuff like stun.
