You could actually do this in 2.0 if you dismounted as you touched the blue line.

Relics from 1.0 were not quest items - which they are in 2.0. If, at some future time, you can upgrade your relic by continuing the questline then those who have relics from 1.0 would need to start again from scratch. Better to do it now and get it done.

I dunno about the relicts. They were also in 1.0 quest rewards.

what i mean is this:
If you did the job quests level 45 and 50 and had already the AF gear from 1.0 but not with your character, you got a 2nd set which you couldn't throw away. Same with the event gears from 1.0 that some people bought accidentally a second time during summer event and halloween event.

1) It displays your Chocobo's tnl above their experience bar.
2) (I think) Clicking the gil icon on your UI toggles it back and forth between Gil and GC Credits.
3) The "move online players to top of list" option in the Linkshell stays toggled when you select it, even persisting through logouts.
