List of mob elemental weakness?

Unfortunately YG is not infallible and as it's not a wiki that we can update ourselves it will never be as good as the FFXI wiki was.

That page is wrong, mobs will only drop 1-6 of one type of shard - the element they are alligned to. In the case of puks, that is Wind and you want to use Ice on them.

And yeah bombs are the exception as in all FF games they are weak to their own element, Fire.

Along with dropping fire and ice shards, star marmot will also drop earth shards.

Feels like everything is weak to water, but i can be sure(from my exp):

Bomb weak to Fire
Gnat weak to Water
Efts weak to Lightning followed by water by Fire

of course im not involving any knowledge from FFXI, dont think they work the same even tho i hope it does, it was a nice elemental system.
