How I see the new abilities:
Asylum - Get ready for my holy spam because that's the only healing you gonna get.
Aero III - I guess I should put some dots up before holy spamming.
Assize - I need more MP to spam holy even more, also stop getting hit in the face.
Tetragrammaton - I guess I should heal that tank now.
Stone III - There's less than 3 mobs left alive. - Ragns Meuhie
yep medica 2's slow trickle doesnt really fit with this game, pretty much gonna be either cure 3 or medica spam more of the latter i'm afraid. One less thing separating us from scholars. Might as well remove the upfront heal and make it an insta cast aoe regen. The initial heal doesnt make any sense on medica 2 anymore.
Bit frustrating, i was hoping to be wrong about how hurtful this change was going to be. Also cure 3's range is still a bit lacking, it would be acceptable around 8y i think, and as expected the proc on cure 3 will rarely get used. increasing the duration or proc chance of the overcure could change this.

I'm not home but i'm talking with friends online and wow... the pvp is broken.
Plus the ninja bard potency nerf that wasn't in patch notes appears to be real, certain skills are showing at 130 potency. I'm curious if anyone noticed any healing "ninja" changes that were not announced in the patch.
Hope its just a tooltip error.

anyway, just done Ultima HM, feels like an idiot everytime throwing out MedicaII now
I'm not happy with the extra moves it takes to put my pet into Obey mode, and the requirement that I target an enemy to do so (why?) Other than that, I'm happy with the new content, PvP is amazing, the game seems more balanced, etc. Basically just the pet thing, everything else is awesome.
I've been having a rough time in Pharos Sirius. The fights there can be insanely annoying sometimes. But it's new, so I guess I gotta give it a while before it becomes routine.
Only done Ultima HM and Titan HM for some new FC members.
Titan was easy. Partially solo healed but I am also outgearing the fight. I kept Medica II up at all times and healed stompes with Medica I
Ultima I had Medica II up at all times as well. Together with DS it's a nice buffer but as expected I topped of people with Medica I most of the time so the regen would tick despite people being topped off.
I did throw some Cure III for testing but the problem I have is that it depends on your party setup outside of fights where you have to huddle together for certain situations). We did the mechanics somewhat wrong since we had the MT eat balls instead of a group so it might come in handy there. During a hectic fight it's hard to keep an overview and estimate if a Cure III is the right option or just wasted mana in non stacked situations.
If I can pop SoS every CD I was ok with MP (but again, I outgear the fight). Won't do Coil until tomorrow so we'll see then.
I just figured I'd add something, I know you guys onl care about titan and post titan content, but cure 3 is awesome on garuda hm.
I mean seriously I couldn't be happier.
It's such a stack up fight you get miles outta each ones.
I think it also depends, if you have more melee's in your group, then they stick, wait till they go side, then hit em and you'll get tank too. Range works for me. Once you realise what it is, and get a sense of how that can be used, it's now a go to spell for me.
Also on medica two,I use it before her big aoe, then use medica one after it for top off, with the regen I don't have to chase everyone down, saves me mp. Cause right after that its just garuda for awhile, so the ticks have time. If I need something faster, I use a different spell.
But I know, if it's not titan or above, it don't matter.
I did Haukke Manon HM yesterday, and the change on whm helps a lot for this dungeon. Med2 low potency allow us to keep it on for all the boss fight, just mix it up with Divine Seal and it's really enough to keep your dps hp topped. Cure 3 can now me usefull if you got a good communication with your team, pretty much gather, heal and spread out. Holy is still really good even with the lost of potency... And yeah Blizz 2 is really useless...
Actually, Garuda HM is one of the fights where Cure III can indeed come in handy. I mentioned it several times when I voiced my fear about the changes and from what I saw Garuda EM has also quite a bit of stacking.
It just asks for more communication with the group. As I mentioned, I don't think it's as bad as I initially thought and they seemed to have mechanics adjusted so you actually do need to stack (ie. Pharos Bosses and also Ultima for some of the mechanics).
I am still worried about overall MP consumption if we use Cure III as a proper tool in our rotations. I did cast it without the proc being active and my MP suffered for it.
I find it really dangerous to have a proc ability of a cast that already relies on a proc ability for MP saving.
