Fates screwing up something....again.... no surprise here. Fate system sucks SE please do away with it for anything major.

FATEs are so funny..... right? at least it seems Square-Enix thinks about them that way... "oh, do you want to continue with your main story quest? too bad, because you're gonna wait one hour for a random FATE to spawn... FUUUUU~~~~~~~~~UUUN"

Working as intended.
FATE won't pop as long as CT servers are stressed with a flood of new players.
It's a server-load control mechanism (just like the housing prices).
Prepare yourself, because EVERY major patch will have gimmicks like this to keep the servers from getting overloaded.
Best to wait until things calm down a bit.

Did you forget about recently? How JP Datacenter worlds have the highest prices? Yeah that's definitely treating JP above all. With FFXI they do it when it's off hours, which is what western companies does - perform maintenance in off hours.
With XIV, they separate NA/EU and JP datacenter maintenance.

silly when it takes mch much much longer waiting around to open a dungeon than it did for us to beat it. Its easy once you get in there, we did it first run.

The fate will spawn in 3 hours. Please look forward to it!
I haven't logged in for weeks... thought the patch would make me want to... nope. Not from what I'm seeing...
Maybe I will look at the new instances. Is King Mog in the game?
Well, can't say I've enjoyed spending 5 hours of my life idling around in some desert to wait for a mob to spawn, but it did give me a few good laughs.
baby don't hurt me, don't hurt me, no more.
Wow, much fate, such enjoy, many excite! Wow!

timesink is fail
If this is their idea of fun, my idea of fun is clubbing the crap out of whoever thought up this idea
