PvP for 1 hour... get to rank 3... and learn the skill to break any CCs ? SO HARDSuch a dumb argument. Why can't pvp be fun and balanced from the start? Why should a person have to slog through hours on end of cheap/broken mechanics just to be able to compete without being perma cc'd? Gear progression should enhance what's already there, not provide defense against CCs where there previously was none.
also to add to my list, why not 1 vs 1, 2 vs 2, or 3 vs 3?

Because allowing 1vs1 in pvp would open a whole new can of worms in terms of balancing etc. That would be too much work at the moment when they are not sure how pvp will be accepted by the community.
