Petition to have the OPTION to change the "main menu" icons back.

I really hope I'm not the only one who hated this as soon as they logged on.

The main menu icons on the very bottom right hand corner of the screen have been decreased from 18 icons to a mere 6 icons. When you click each icon it opens a drop up/down menu. I understand it's supposed to make it so that there is less clutter on the screen. But I HATE it.

I know a lot of people will read this and think I'm insane and that I should get used to it. But I truly liked how it was set up before. It's what I'm used to.

I'm not asking to completely change it back. All I want is an option in the settings to change it back to how it was. You know how it lets you change your camera setting to either "standard" or "legacy" type. I just want something like that, ya know?

If you guys think that me posting this here will get this issue no where let me know. I'm hoping there are other people who agree with me.

What's so "wtf" about that? I don't want them changing it completely because some people might actually like the change. So I would like an option in the settings to change the menu back. I'm not asking them to force the change back on everyone just because me and some others may not like it.

Agreed, please bring back the old menu or give an option to revert to it. Using common actions like teleporting became much more tedious now.

The second I saw the new menu and clicked on one of the icons to see the big list of icons, I instantly hated it and wished they had an option to have a compact menu, opposed to normal.

I also don't like the huge list of tabs in character screen, either... but that's nothing to do with this.

Just let us pick which buttons are displayed on the micro menu, and allow optional grouping. Problem solved.

i want all fifty bajillion of my menu buttons back

but someone in my fc said something about just dedicating a hotbar to the buttons that you need. so you could probably just make macros with the console commands to bring those windows up.

but idk, haven't tried. the idea just occurred to me while i was typing this post and being irritated with the new menu, looking to see if such an option was available.

I definitely agree that the new system is garbage. Sure, there are less buttons, but now it takes multiple clicks to reach the desired menu. On top of that, the new location of the old menus isn't immediately obvious. Free Company and Signs are now shoe-horned into Social.

@Delorean: That will probably work, but I don't believe you can resize hotbars (at least not individually). That might be a good workaround in the short run, but I'd rather see them fix this issue quickly.
