

Hey, how exactly did you overwrite the file? Because, when I tried this, I either get an error or my pc won't let me copy because it says a program's using it.You can kind of bullshit your way into it if you're willing to take the use-at-your-own-risk route. If the download fails or d/cs, before starting the launcher back up again copy the partial file to another folder. Then start updating again, and after it nukes the partial file but before it writes the first chunk to it(I want to say it does this every 4MB, but don't quote me on that) overwrite the new 0KB one with the copy. The launcher will be confused as hell but eventually pick back up where it left off. I make no guarantees this won't break something horribly given the sloppy nature of the work-around, but it's how I had to do the initial install/update of the game at launch when I couldn't stay connected to the servers to save my life.
