New Female Highlander Hairstyles... got the shaft

I was pretty disappointed with what we got too. At the very least I found the twin ponytails actually worked for my miqo. The bangs look nice. But I think they just threw this hairstyle at most of the other females for each race. I know the lalas got it too. -_-;;

Sigh... I haven't even patched my game yet and I'm already disappointed, I was so pumped with the hairdresser and PvP but so far it seems it's just a huge letdown.

I was rather disappointed as well. I eagerly looked at the hairstyles for my Midlander female, but couldn't find anything that wasn't already in character creation -- am I missing something? Aside from the Lightning hair, of course (I didn't do that quest).

Don't get me wrong, I am pleased to be able to swap my character's hairstyle to something shorter when I feel like wearing my favorite gear without clipping, and the quest to unlock it was fun. But I was really hoping we'd get some additional/new choices.

Oh well, I would like to get a Fantasia for my character anyway, and that seems to be a ways off too.

While patch 2.1 introduced new hairstyles for Roegadyns, we'll continue adding more hairstyles for other races and the ones added recently will be selectable for other races in the next patch.

What about the pre-existing hairstyles from other races being available to races that can't currently use them?

well, I'd rather be able to change my appearance than not. so I'd say the patch was a plus in this area.

Kinda off topic, sorry. But could someone please tell me the location/quest giver be able to change hair styles please? Thank you.

I love it, Though I have only seen maybe one or two styles? I think I have the snow head wrap from FF13. Im not sure about other options but its mostly a barber right so everything to do with hair not,
eyes, eye color.
body type.
race, sex.
skin color.
mouth shape.
eye shape.
you get where im going with this...
Those would be a total cosmetic thing and that will be nice when they add it to the game for purchase I think is very fare.

So since Yoshi did mention that they will add more stuff to our barber guy which is cool. what's the problems?

In the Letter from the Producer LIVE Part X, Yoshida mentioned that each patch will focus on a specific race along with opening other race's hairstyle options.

hvinire if the Devs used the already available data of each races hairstyles, and gave all races all of each other's hairstyles, that would feel like the addition of a lot more hairstyles than just designing 1 brand new one each patch. I would rather have the option of 50 hairstyles than just 1 extra brand new one. At heart character frames are basically the same. Only the skins are different. Coding all the hairstyles available for all races would be the Devs most bang for time invested.

I want Garnet's/Tifa's hairstyle please! But maybe that's too long, clippings and all. I noticed they didn't really make any long hairstyles..

I believe roegadyns got it as well, and it looked hilariously out of place on my character :P
