New Female Highlander Hairstyles... got the shaft

please add more hairstyles so not everyone defaults to the SINGLE NEW HAIRSTYLE....I swear 50% of female characters now have lightning hair. cool game square enix

More are in the works. Y'all need to seriously take a step back and look at how much content they did get pushed out on this PATCH....

All the time spent making a post where if you'd just did a little more reading you would allready know the answer...

hvinire if the Devs used the already available data of each races hairstyles, and gave all races all of each other's hairstyles, that would feel like the addition of a lot more hairstyles than just designing 1 brand new one each patch. I would rather have the option of 50 hairstyles than just 1 extra brand new one. At heart character frames are basically the same. Only the skins are different. Coding all the hairstyles available for all races would be the Devs most bang for time invested.

Simply carrying the hair data over to other races might work for some races, but you're playing the very race that can't have that data dumped on it. Mi'qotte's have their ears on the top of their head. I don't know if you've noticed but they have to design all the miqo hairstyles to cover the complete side of their heads, because the human head looks kinda weird when missing ears on the side. If you look up the innumberable catgirl anime characters there are, they all have special hair deisgns to cover where the ears should be. So SE can't just throw another races hair on a Miqo and call it a day. They have to edit the hair to cover the side of the head, and make room for the ears at the top so there isn't weird clipping. And furthermore, since each hairstyle has a particular way it's displayed when wearing headgear, they'll have to design each hairstyle to cover the place ears should be even when wearing hats.

Don't forget the Yoshi-fro, everybody and their brother changed to the Yoshi-fro or Snow hairstyles.

So glad I changed to the pompadour, hardly anyone has it.

Also Guys what do you think about summoner's af horn with for example lightining's hair? i mean how it that glitched or whatever you are calling that...i mean half of hair under horn and half is on horn or even in lol

In the Letter from the Producer LIVE Part X, Yoshida mentioned that each patch will focus on a specific race along with opening other race's hairstyle options.



While patch 2.1 introduced new hairstyles for Roegadyns, we'll continue adding more hairstyles for other races and the ones added recently will be selectable for other races in the next patch.

I was really looking forward to this in 2.1 and it was a HUGE letdown. Like many, I play mi'qote, and with the launch of the aesthetician, only getting access to 2 hairstyles (1 if you didn't do lightning event) is very upsetting and not what I was expecting. Giving us access to all the other races hairstyles is something I would have considered significant. I was really hoping to get the bun-style look from hyur on my mi'qote, instead we only got Light and the twin-tails which I'm not fond of. Please give us access to ALL the other races hairstyles on all races.
