Focus needs to be on consoles have a solid user base, not consoles for children.

And you figured that the Wii U is for children how? Which part of it is aimed at children again? Was it the HD graphics that surpass the PS3 and 360? Or was it the abilities to use the wii remote with it? (which put it on par with the PS3's lolipop remote) Or was it the new controller that has a touch screen, motion sensing, gyroscope, camera, mic, speaker and can stream video from the console? ORRRR... was it the hardcore games like darksider II, asssassin's creed, the new zelda game?
I'm sorry i fail to understand what exactly is for children only in there...

Some people can't get over the stigma that Nintendo caters to casual & children alot. It's not about the console, it's about the developers & the software(games) they create. It's ultimately up to them (and the hardware to maximize their potential). And you figured that the Wii U is for children how? Which part of it is aimed at children again? Having said that, i'm sure we'll still see plenty of 3rd party developers creating a plethora of kiddie games for the Wii U.
I'm just glad Nintendo didn't focus 100% on all the stupid motion gimmicks to sell to the casuals this e3. They actually had a nice array of games that weren't all FPS (many were 3DS, which sux for me, but still).
Considering all the presentations so far, none have been awe inspiring.
Did you see the footage of Ninja Gaiden 3 for the Wii U? Did that look like a kid's game?
Sega already tried the "Nintendo games are for kids" line back in the 90's. How's their latest console doing these days?
To be honest, I could care less if this game comes to the new Wii. I just want to be able to hook that controller up to my PC and stream FFXIV to it while I lounge around the house.
Stick it in my Balmung.

I guess investors are afraid that controller is going to cost more than the console itself lol. Console looks interesting but does look expensive.

oh please stocks always do this when crazy new things like this are revealed by companies..... this is nothing new
you missed my point.... this happens to any company when things like this are revealed, it is natural to be afraid of the unknown.
you act like this is something shocking and an attempt to say this is a bad idea.
I will admit, when I first saw it I was like "WTF" ....but after seeing what can be done with it, and the fact that they will still use Wiimotes with the new system, I see nothing wrong, and will be buying this on release day.
