Some people can't get over the stigma that Nintendo caters to casual & children alot. It's not about the console, it's about the developers & the software(games) they create. It's ultimately up to them (and the hardware to maximize their potential).
Having said that, i'm sure we'll still see plenty of 3rd party developers creating a plethora of kiddie games for the Wii U.
I'm just glad Nintendo didn't focus 100% on all the stupid motion gimmicks to sell to the casuals this e3. They actually had a nice array of games that weren't all FPS (many were 3DS, which sux for me, but still).
Considering all the presentations so far, none have been awe inspiring.
