You're actually not supposed to be logged in - they're testing the login system as a part of the maintenence - they've said so in the latest news update found here: http://na.finalfantasyxiv.com/lodest...3cbb81ac0bf13a

Regarding the all Worlds maintenance associated with patch 2.1, the World servers have been loaded and the login check is currently being conducted.
To be certain that players are able to log in to all Worlds without any problem, we are being very careful with the login check and is expected to take an extra hour.

I don't get it, if you haven't played in a while, why are you on the forums? I haven't played Street Fighter IV in a while, but I don't spend time in the capcom forums talking about it. Just curious, what's the appeal of just reading about the game on the forums, why not just play the game. (yes yes yes I know we are in maintenance right now, but that's not the point cause you said you haven't played in a while.)
