It's a sloppy system really. Obvious bias to people who do more dungeons, and a less obvious bias towards tanks and/or healers; nobody notices dps unless they're bad.

Edit: Oh and the other flaw: you can't commend someone if they've already left the dungeon. So anyone caring about getting these should not rush to exit after boss.

Now that's not true. I main a healer, and yesterday I was farming Brayflox and the monk in the party did a phenomenal job despite not having a ton of experience (first time running Bray, new to game). She got my vote.

So don't say "nobody notices dps." As a healer, I make it my job to assess the actions of the whole party and gauge who is pulling their own weight or is trying to learn.
