We have decided to roll back all progression up until this point to allow all players to be on a level playing field. Thank you for grinding up to R50 on all classes and professions, we appreciate you taking part in this extended beta, and hope you enjoy doing it all again, just so the new guys don't feel sad about being behind.

This would be the first occasion of a video game induced frenzy riot.

Rollback is off the table.
The drastic changes will occur in such a way that we will keep our class ranks, though the abilities attached to them are subject to change.

If crafting needs change... I'll be on equal footing with anyone who ranks their crafts up to the level I'm at. Changing my character development strategy after the changes is far more acceptable than being forced to spend time I don't have getting back to where I was. I made all my progress during the winter months... I likely wouldn't be able to repeat the grind until we get back to that season.
