Oh a post from the mighty Malboro watch out for his preemptive post you might get hit by bad-breath!
Yeah but thanks for the update <.<
Now only if there was a way of receiving useful feedback from the dev. team instead of "We'll consider it." copy pasta'd like the game-zones![]()
If you are "looking into this" along with the rest of the 2000 things you're currently looking into... Maybe a forum "restructure" is needed.
(They are not productive in their current state)
mostly due to obvious troll/fanboy/retarded reasons.
How about reading what you already have? Look at this thread. Look at how many likes the OP has. Look at how many replies the thread has, nearly all in agreement with the OP. This thread is IMPORTANT, and it's been ignored so far.
Hmmm, considering the fan negativity regarding the perception that "we'll look into it" is a non-answer, I would suggest the following:
For the next Q&A, just let the devs pick and choose 4-5 questions themselves that they think are good questions. Questions that they know they can give a good answer to, accompanied with lots of details and discussion in how the devs approach their design decisions.
Right now, we have a large quantity of dev feedback, but arguably low quality.
I think the fanbase would be happier if you instead had a low quantity of dev feedback, but that each answer is long and substantial.
edit: oops, wrong thread.

While the idea is good, I have to disagree with its implementation. I do not believe the amount of people actively posting in the forums is representative of the amount of people who have purchased the game, or those who play, have played, or plan to resume playing at some point (I log in to FFXIV and play regularly, however I only occasionally visit the forums).
Maybe if you found a way to make it mandatory... for instance, by having the poll show up both in the forums and in-game when you log in.
I'm not sure about the mandatory part, but making it appear in both places is a good idea. There are some people who play but don't visit the forums, and some who visit the forums but don't play much while they're waiting for changes.
