2 Minute wait time for The Wolves Den is too severe

i agree that its pretty unnecessary to have it that long, i'm pretty sure they will cut down on time when they realize people don't need that long to ready up for a pvp match


i don't know any other game that i needed 2 minutes to get ready.

this is a mmo. its supposed to take years to get certain accomplishments, not days. im glad there still giving the players who plan to play 5 years+ things to work forward too.

Unnecessary waiting times actually make you happy? Well, in that case you could simply refrain from pushing that "Ready" button, if it's implemented. That'll make everyone in your PvP match wait those 2 minutes with you.

Having a certain preparation time is pretty standard in MMOs that have PvP. What is the preparation time for PvP in WoW? I don't recall, but I'm sure it's at LEAST one minute... possibly two! Although, the timer starts from when the queue pops... not from when everyone gets there. So, if someone is a slow loader... the timer doesn't wait on them. If this is the case with FFXIV PvP, it may be accommodating slow loaders, and slow cast times. I'm not sure how the arena areas with be cached, or if they will always be 'ready' when you queue for pvp matches.

i can understand when it comes to pre-made battles but pug randoms will most likely be mute and will only talk if their team gets beat downed

2 minutes for:

- Stoneskin all members party (4 and 8 in a future)
- cast protect
- Summon pet
- Other buffs

2 minutes is a necessary time.

I think it will be a good time to apply buffs and discuss with your party members what is going to go down. Or, you can just run into the arena like headless chickens.

I cant remember what wow arena was i think it migth have been like 30 secs to a min
