Final Thoughts on the Housing Rage

So I have been strolling through the forums because life without FFXIV is sadly... boring.

I have seen so much complaints about the housing system and the pricing and I am just in awe of people really. Let's do a small recap of everything we are getting in this .1 patch (which by the way should be called an expansion).

-PvP
-Crystal Tower (New Raid)
-Pharos Sirius (New Dungeon)
-Hardmode Dungeons that are completely different from the originals
-Housing System
- Main Scenario Continuation
-Dailies with Beast Tribe Factions
-Moogle Fight
-Extreme Primal Battles
-Hair Salon
-Battle Adjustments
-Tons of New Gear
-A Remodeled Mor Dhona (I'm really excited about this!)
-Mythology Cap Raise
-Duty Roulette
-Side Quests for Pure Enjoyment

And you're complaining about housing prices.... seriously!?

If all you care about is the ability to buy a house, I honestly thing you're playing the WRONG game. Try the Sims 3 perhaps. Lot's of cheap housing choices there.

Yes everyone was excited and now everyone won't be able to get a house on day 1 like they dreamed of doing, but so what? There is more to this patch than one addition to the game!

I don't understand the whole housing rage. From early access to now we didn't have fucking houses, now everyone is crying all this "homeless" bullshit. Who cares if you don't have a house, you never had one to begin with! I'm not even in a Free Company, nor do I care to be just to "be in a house".

OP, has it ever occurred to you that maybe, just maybe, that there are people out there who enjoy different aspects of the game than you? What if I told you that there are people who play this game that aren't too interested in PvP and raiding and whatnot, but instead play it for the lore and the social aspects of the game? It might be impossible for you to believe, but there are people who don't care for having the best gear or getting world firsts, and maybe they really wanted to purchase a house and make it all nice and all that jazz, so they could invite friends and other people to hang out in their pimped-out home.

You ever thought about that?

Eh I don't care too much on the FC housing. I'm more interested when they release player housing and what i'll need then. The FC i'm in will get a house someday we're in no rush. As far as everything else I don't mind a lot of it/like the stuff being added. I think I'm mainly concerned about the slew of new minions and where to get them more then anything >w<;

Dungeon content I'll be dragged into sooner or later so not too worried about it. But as far as any rage about Fc housing costs... they might as well get over it the prices arent changing any time soon. Or least from the looks of things and words from the producer they arent.

Housing was the only reason I was going to still play none of that other stuff. So you have to understand some ppl are upset because the thing they are focused on is being done wrong in their opinion. Is that wrong?
