I'm noticing a trend of players arguing against changes to the game coming off as complete jackasses. Is it always going to be "DURR THESE FEATURES ARE NEW AND DIFFERENT THEREFORE THEY ARE GOOD BY DEFAULT"? That way of thinking is what ruined this game from the start.
Let it go. It's not all about you.
^This /agree. Seriously...I'm noticing a trend of players arguing against changes to the game coming off as complete jackasses. Is it always going to be "DURR THESE FEATURES ARE NEW AND DIFFERENT THEREFORE THEY ARE GOOD BY DEFAULT"? That way of thinking is what ruined this game from the start.

I apologize for being a fast learner. m(_ _)m
Fast learner? You're an idiot. If you haven't learned yet that this game is boring as hell, then you're clearly not as 'fast' as you think you are. You can't pose any viable solutions to the problems, you whine and complain about anyone's facts, then resort to the only thing you're good at; posting one-sentence slapbacks that claim absolutely no intelligence.
Maybe SE should listen to those who have high expectations for another great MMO instead of a cheeseball like yourself who thinks it's just peachey. Just another fact to state out there, but WoW? Yeah it achieved a high fan base due to it's relative ease to play on any computer. I don't give a **** about graphics as much as I do enjoying the game. If you want someone to cater to just you, go play a single-player RPG.

There was no time to talk in this game, but not because the battle system was hard. Its because you had to spam attacks as fast as you could to even feel like you did anything to the mob (and it used to be to get sp), especially as a mage all you do is spam your largest cure on aoe a lot of times, not enough time to do any cool spells. typical zerg. If they are going to add auto-attack, ACTUALLY BALANCE classes, which really hasn't been done yet, and make the battles a teensy bit longer, I'm happy.

Even without a battle system change, fights and exp gain work more like standard RPG fights after the last few updates. You gain the same SP as everyone else as long as you put forth some effort. There was no time to talk in this game, but not because the battle system was hard. Thank you, Zavier Mhigo. You've earned yourself a like. You're 100% correct in terms of difficulty not being an issue. I feel like I should play the episode of The Simpsons where Homer uses that dipping wooden bird to peck the 'Y' button on the keyboard for him. That's where a majority of my attacks are from, so it just feels silly. There was no time to talk in this game, but not because the battle system was hard. Good to see that Kimahri and Reika are still at each other's throats. No wonder a dev hasn't posted here in awhile, or anyone else. =p

Also, something that has been bugging me this entire thread...since I realize that people are spamming even though there are better ways to approach battle, how is it different than spamming your sword attacks in say a Zelda game? What makes one fun and the other spam?
