BiS PLD Gear?

Yeah after looking at all the new stuff, I think PLD BiS will stay pretty much the same.

If memory serves, there are only 2 items whose stats are changed. The changes do not really affect anything much anyway, so it's safe to say whatever other threads existing that depicts BiS for PLDs are still valid.

Nothing will change. None of the new PLD stuff has a place in BIS tanking sets.

Onion Shield is debatable though. Consistency vs. better Bulwark.

I don't know about you guys, but allagan gloves loosing party means my bis slots got changes for sure. I'm rocking allagan boots because I was waiting for gloves to drop... Now I got to run valor boots and gloves...

ultima ring gives less parry than allagan, and has determination rather than skill speed. (looks like nothing changed for here though.)

all of the extreme primal drops are Ilvl90 as well.

in addition, allagan gauntlets lost its parry stat.

I'm not sure if it's worth trading 2 Vit and 2 Parry for 7 Det.

probably not, as its ilvl80. good stepping stone. but the other option is a garuda EX drop that doesn't even give parry.

Valor gloves were always BiS over Allagan. Allagan boots are still BiS though whenever you find those drop.
