Error 20524

So im getting an update error 20524

i have tried multiple times to re-download the patch. to no avail

Any idea's guys ? i already tried changing game.ver but that didnt work either =/

You have to change the content of the game.ver file with a text editor. The content should be 2011.07.20.0000

I tried to do this with wordpad but then when I try to save it, it won't let me. any ideas?

Right click the file, properties and uncheck the write protection. That write protection is probably also the cause for the updater failing to update it.

i changed the game ver. to 2011.03.24.0000 and i got the login screen

just remove back Large Address Aware Flag...
