Flash, circle of scorn, flash some more then single target combo what your focusing (kill target), run low on MP use the combo to replenish it. Rinse and repeat

If that doesn't work then re-evaluate your gear. if that is not the case then see who is taking hate and pay attention to what they are doing

IF DPS is not targeting your mob tell them to stawp it and kill your target

IF the WHM is dropping heals on you when your FULL and/or spamming AoE heals (back 2 back) tell them to stop it and l2p

IF your in a party with people who has better gear than you. ask them to let you build hate the mob

Always pay attention to the threat bar

How I see the new abilities:
Asylum - Get ready for my holy spam because that's the only healing you gonna get.
Aero III - I guess I should put some dots up before holy spamming.
Assize - I need more MP to spam holy even more, also stop getting hit in the face.
Tetragrammaton - I guess I should heal that tank now.
Stone III - There's less than 3 mobs left alive. - Ragns Meuhie

Is it possible you were standing in red circles? A little dodging goes a long way. Taking more hits than necessary can cause a healer to have to cure you a whole lot and then you're going to lose agro. Shouting at you is not very helpful, but I can understand the frustration as I've been through this numerous times. What ends up happening is that there's no time to tell someone to move out of the way of the AOE because you're too busy SMASHING BUTTONS trying to keep them alive. The frustration builds and builds until all rational thought is gone and you're just done. The 'stopped curing entirely' might have been an attempt to let you build more hate, but then you dropped dead from not taking a step to the left. This has happened to me several times. Then, the healer looks like a bad person, when all they were doing was trying to do their job properly and stop causing agro problems.

I've found that some people are really lazy about healing and won't hesitate to mash that Medica button. It generates so much threat at the lower levels that it's hard to keep threat if it's used too liberally. I think as I was leveling my CNJ I used Medica a whole two times between Sastasha and Haukke Manor. I could typically keep people up with only a single Cure otherwise. It's usually good for 1/3 of the tank's health and about 1/2 of everyone else's per Cure.

I don't know your exact situation but people above gave some good pointers. You only have control over what you personally can do, so unless you feel you're doing something legitimately wrong I wouldn't worry about it too much. Some DPS get overzealous and just shoot whatever they want and healers overheal. There's nothing you can really do about this.

A few tips that could help you maintain emnity over the healer. Above all less damage means less healing. Avoid aoe. In the lower levels this will be a red zone. In higher levels you will learn to watch the cast bar. Turn the mobs away from the casters. If they are getting hit due to positioning this will cause more healer aggro. If you need to move to avoid aoe immediately move back into your original position. Position all mobs in front of you. You cannot parry single target hits from behind or the sides and will take more damage.

thanks for all the replies. it helps a lot. i use fast blade and savage blade as my primary combo. i only use fast blade and riot blade when i see that my mp is low. i usually run around my target when i fight, i try not to stay directly in front of them. i use fight or flight, and rampart whenever its cooled down. and shield bash is pretty expensive in tp cost so i try to avoid that unless the enemy is casting something.
ive never thought about rotating my attacks tho.. the lock on function on the ps3 is funky sometimes, but it might just be me. i usually focus my attacks on one target unless another one breaks away, then id chase after that one. thanks for the tips everyone!

Do you mean you are spinning the mobs? If you are please don't. Melee cannot appropriately position themselves at the flank or rear so spinning the mobs will nerf your party dps. Also, spinning mobs puts the ranged at risk of being hit by frontal aoe. Always position the mobs facing them away from the party and hold them in place moving only when you need to avoid aoe.

This and this are your problem. The first one, for the reason L'lisc already mentioned. The second one, healing generate threats on all mobs. You need to use your savage blade and later rage of halone on other mobs to keep them aggro'd on you. But I get it, it's harder at lower level than 26 since you don't have the 1-2-3 combo yet and the aggro modifier for that combo is very weighted on Rage of Halone. Still, a Fast Blade on target 1 that you shield lobbed, Savage Blade on target 2, flash, fast blade on target 3, savage blade on target 1 will hold aggro just fine. From there, just watch which mobs the healer is gaining aggro on you and use savage blade on it.

    Medica is a hate magnet
Overcuring is just as bad. The whm might also have been throwing regen on you which will keep ticking and generating hate even if it's not actually healing you. Early levels some clueless healers will even toss regen on you before a pull (worst idea ever) overcuring hate to instantly rip it off the tank.

One of the better things you can pick up as a tank is waiting for stoneskin (this is in the 30s for a whm/cnj) and/or whatever the scholar one is before a big pull, and not pulling while regen is still ticking from a previous pull. The added damage you can soak before the healer has to start casting on you will help cement the mobs a bit better to you.
