    Post Patch Connection Thread

    Supposedly they're updating servers and net code to fix a lot of the lag problems. This thread is for people to update if their connection (ping) has gotten better, worse, or stayed the same post patch. I'm sure this will help the devs (if any mods actually read the forums).


    I'll update as soon as the servers are back up!

    Well, my server still isn't up at 11:40PM PST. 20 minutes to go and they will have hit their "maximum" time despite implying they might come online sooner. Sounds like when they do come up, I'm not looking forward to much fun either. Willing to bet they're going to go over it as well. Their maintenance schedule and ability to maintain server health is the worst. They really need to play some other MMOs and hire some of the datacenter managers from proven games (there are plenty of experienced folks out there) to get these fundamentals under control. Like most MMOs, their dev to player communication is garbage. There are teams of folks hopefully up right now, who have been working hard at this all day. Why don't they have someone who can make regular updates? Is it that hard?

    It seems that there have not been any further posts about this concern being an ongoing issue. Because of this, we are considering it to be resolved.
