Obviously there has been a lot of drama surrounding the housing prices. Many people in defending these prices point to the relative affordability of the small plots - when split among 20-60 members - as proof that there's actually nothing wrong. But I think there has been some misconception over what exactly the small plot gets you.

If you watch this video, you will see what the smallest house looks like, which is the only thing you can build on a small plot of land.

As you can see, the small houses are barely bigger than a personal inn room. Yes the price of FC housing was not meant to be shouldered alone, but I ask you, is it really reasonable to expect a FC of 10 or more people to pitch in for something like that?

Based on the size of what you get, I can only assume these plots were meant for those small cottage FCs with 2-8 very close friends, yet these prices are completely unreachable for them. Especially on the legacy servers where these plots run upwards of 20-40 million if you're lucky and no one buys it before you after 3 months.
