Does anyone know how to fix the error im having? I started the download earlier and everything looked good so I left my pc and when I came back I am getting this error in the screenshot. I have tried relaunching the client, restarting my pc, and even deleting the patch file but nothing is working.

You can use utorrent or your favorite torrent client to download the patch and update the game . . . oh wait, they changed that! :-(

Just finished mine. If you get a server connection error just try again in a couple minutes.

I used to have these errors. Using CCleaner to clean browsers and registry always helped me.

3GB and my monthly allowance is 5gb. Ouch. Guess i won't be downloading Vampire diaries or Lost Girl this month. Will mooch parent's internet during xmass!

206 mins left at 0.16mb/s. Least i'm not on dial up any more! Then it would be 5 years to download, and with no continuous download option from where you left off...someone is sure to phone and kick me off the net :P

I keep receiving an error around 1 gigs. downloaded that states the "Beta" client encountered an error while patching, please restart the patch client.

I patched and installed just fine took about 15 minutes make sure u run as admin if ur getting any errors

Beta client?! Sounds like you left bits of that client laying around and its come to haunt you.

Finished downloading the patch and it updated.
Now to wait for additional patches if needed and for the servers to come back on..

Can't wait for tomorrow evening so I can dig right in !

Three fucking gigabytes. My 12GB Playstation 3 doesn't have enough space on it to play this game anymore. Looks like I can't play until I shell out 60 dollars for a hard drive extension, then wait a few weeks for it to arrive in the mail.


God fucking damn it.

I'm facepalming not because of how ridiculously large this patch is, but how I never thought to prepare for the inevitable. Time to snuggle in all the blankets and pillows that I can find, drink a hot mocha latte, watch chick flicks, and try not to wallow in my own self-pity.
