If you're done with my thread, you can leave. Or you can continue to show square enix just how much the RMT have some posters trained. So terribly sorry that the mods have no-actioned this thread, much to your chagrin.
You have your reasons for defending bots, botters, and games that tolerate them. If everyone knew exactly why, you'd probably be laughed off the forum.
Mmm hmm, "your thread" now too. Wow you really are something.
Keep it up, you are only embarrassing yourself now.

This is how Vahzl imagines the rest of us play. We can't be sure people aren't bots!

Which GM action would you trust more; one that recognizes the bot problem and does something about the reports of the offending player, before persuing action on peregine, or one that drags their feet on the bots but swoops in and silences peregine for the youtube videos?
It'd be suicde for SE itself to look like they're defending the bots, and at the same time, a witch hunt would spiral out of control, but the only reason said calls are being made is because it seems like nothing is being done. If Eorzea is lawless, people will call for vigilantism, even if it is against the law, because some justice is better than none.
What we need is the law to step in. The STF and GMs must step in, and with visible results. Provide a massacre tally like they did on valentine's day. (We have banned xxxx people, calls of rmt activity have been on the decline, we have taken x billion gil out of circulation, etc.)
Or else all the gm calls and reports will mean nothing, and people like Peregine(even /if/ action is taken against him) will continue to call for action from the players, as long as they see the same bot day in and day out after their report and monitoring.

dude it said it right before you claimed... thats all I am saying. you obviously did something to leave combat which allowed the bot to claim, they cant steal your claims.
Haha well you feel free to point me to the leave combat button.
The message is a result of losing the claim. Not proof that I did or didn't do something.
I'm staring that coblyn in the face, and it's red. I heal myself. It goes unclaimed.
And like I said, I don't give a **** if it stole my coblyn or not. I never said that even mattered.
You keep trying to argue to a strawman. Your underlying point is irrelevant.
My guess is your underlying point is you don't like me.
Well, I don't care.
I don't even have to argue that the bot steals coblyns. It doesn't. That's simply the only fight you're capable of winning here, so you try to pick it.
For whatever reason.
I am not trying to win any sort of fight, I apologize if I misunderstood the point of the thread. Honestly, I thought it was another "OMG Bots steal my claim thread". My bad dude, I was just pointing out that the bot did not steal your claim that is all. Lol My bad

Man how far do you have to stick your head in the sand to claim that these bots are not using some kind of third party game altering trickery. I mean heck there not even trying to be sneaky about it in the least its right out in the open.
Crafting and gathering bots those could be difficult to spot server side as its all client based. These on the other hand are obviously operating via packets. There was a time when these things had a short shelf life and would be removed rather quickly. these days, not so much. There are a lot of things that need to be done to get this games "House" in order, this is a pretty serious one.
An Aware, Informed, and Critical community is vital for the success of a game.~ John "Totalbiscuit" Bain

That stuff is pretty possible Ive seen it happen in xi well not claim steal but running thru landmasses etc. you guys remember overlord bangoldek(NM in Davoi inside the caves) or w/e his name is how you had to go thru that stupid long path to get to his pop but if you could walk up a certain cliff you could get there insanely fast use to see RMT and players use this hack all the time.
