Umm..Thunder?

So I've been playing a conjurer since starting the game a couple weeks ago. I'm at level 26 right now, and I have to ask, what is thunder? Please tell me it is a skill from another class and I haven't totally overlooked something I could have been using.

Thunder is a DOT damage skill from the black mage class. Conjurers used to be able to use it as a cross-class skill but can't anymore after 2.1 goes live. In replacement of thunder, conjurers can cross-class blizzard 2 now from black mage. Blizzard 2 is an AOE damage skill. Blizzard 2 could really help in fates but otherwise it has little use in 2.1. So no, you didn't totally overlook an essential skill.
