Umm..Thunder?

So I'm new to the game, I've been playing for about 2-3 weeks now.

I finally got my Conj to 30 and jumped over to level my Arcanist to 15 so I can unlock WHM, the class I want to play.

How exactly am I suppose to level 30-50 without Thunder? I've depended on Thunder for DPS since level 15 or so. Now I'm suppose to do the last 20 levels spamming nothing but Stone 2 all day?

You really know how to make a new player want to quit your game Square, great job.

Time to debate if I even want to log in again, might cancel my account tonight.

This change is stupid and only hurts people new to the game and people attempting to level a healing class, something people WANT around. Stupid Squarenix, stupid as hell.

I do Dungeons, I like dungeons. However, when you are leveling for the first time, there is about 5 levels between each one.

It seems like if you hate repeating dungeons and you don't fate farm then you are doing side quests (seriously noone levels with guildhest farming or mob chain farming). Killing enemies on side quests will be slower for cnj than most other classes because their primary role is healing. Just keep leveling for 20 more levels then this won't matter much at all when you hit 50.

If your leveling for the first time, you don't even need to run a fate. Quests + dungeons will more then cover the entire journey to 50.

Fates were more useful on the 2nd+ jobs... but now.. dungeons, fates, and leve's are all good ways to go.
