Confusion on Patch Notes.

There are a LOT of typos on the patch notes. One of these is them putting, "Increased damage when attacking from a target's flank has been increased from 10% to 15%.", three times in a row for LNC.

Does anybody know if the second and third time it appears is covering up a change for LNC? Or are they just that excited about the 5% boost..

The translation sux hard. There are lot of "changes" that are written where skill name should be.

I was discussing with a couple of friends how SE should really consider proofreading their posts. I mean, they're a company, so you'd think they want to leave a good impression, no?
Cause trust me, typos most certainly do not leave a good impression. Makes me question their level of professionalism really.

Honestly with all the disappointment in the content of the update notes, it was the typos that got me to smile and laugh. The typos, unfinished sentences, incorrect information, and repeated statements are probably the best part of the update for me and I'm looking forward to hopefully more. Can we get one of these like once a week until FC housing is fixed?

In reality though, yeah I was really shocked at how many errors there were and the lack of proof reading before publishing.

Maybe they are buffing it three times? So in total, flank damage is now 45% increased?

Yeah, this is just sad. Our patch notes are missing entire sections (fixed/known bugs at least).

The English patch notes (going back to FFXI) for any sufficiently large patch almost always have something worded in a way that could mean multiple things, while the other languages are perfectly clear about it.

Whoever is in charge of approving these things needs to start reading them. Proofskimming is not a thing that works.
