Some of the people defending house prices seem to do so because they consider a house an "achievement" that needs to be worked towards and obtained and people who wanted it now and can't have it are "whiners."
I don't understand, I never thought of it that way. I assumed housing was supposed to be for everyone, to unite Free Companies more and just have a fun time.
I can understand achieving gear or killing hard bosses or beating dungeons taking time, but never did it cross my mind that a cosmetic little thing shouldn't really, for real, just be "handed to you."
Not to mention I would see far more potential in SE and their plan to drain gil from the economy if they had equal size plots for all, equal options for all, equal low-ish price for all aka. a few million. Then sell furniture or whatever. Every FC would buy, lots and lots of money would be spent.
The argument of course there is that their servers can't handle it, but.. well.. they should. Many other games have handled it in the past. Square Enix just isn't prepared.. which is sad.
