Agree. Or, to prevent certain people from spamming others' boxes, a "visitor message" list there...this way, since profiles are public, the chances of abusing this would be much slower...

With PMs we would very often start receiving RMT PMs offering gil or linking scam URLs to trick newbies and stuff...which is always important...no URL would be allowed and even the patterns of URL link in a PM would need to be treated as scamming, having the message not delivered and the dude who tried sending it temporaly suspended from forum (until the message is checked by a moderator).

Considering that it requires a game account to even post on these forums I think the RMT would avoid using Spam-bots to advertise there services considering that it would be easy to track down and ban accounts linked to them. While I'm sure a few will try it's a good way to get RMT to need to buy even more copies of the game lol.

I was just about to post something about this until I thought "Let me check." WE NEED PM badly, its actually ridiculous we don't have it. All you need is an option that either a) links your friends list and blist from XIV to the lodestone. or b) add a friend list feature to the lodestone/forum. Both of these then would lead to this option which is CRUCIAL "accept PMs from friends only" therefore people who are "real" not scammers , would try to add you as a friend if it was really worth it to talk to you about something.

I'm so bored Nintendo I knew would be boring as hell so I dvr'd their E3 and i've fast forwarded through a lot of it. I've played a million Zelda remakes being 21, and zelda being 25, i've hit the gameboy color remakes of at least all their games. So sorry for posting a sorta oldish topic.
