How housing prices should have been done.

Work harder than people not on Legacy servers because... you're special

Enough trolling, this is how I believe houses should have been done.

Housing are for FCs so it should be based on the size of your FC. Obv people can just leave to manipulate housing prices but simply adding 30+ days after leaving a FC for it to effect housing prices.

    Example
100 People FC the plot of land starts at 50million
30 People FC the plot of land starts at 15million

    After 3month (14% per month):
100 People FC the plot of land ends at 24million
30 People FC the plot of land ends at 7.2million

Starts at 500k per player and drops to 240k per player on average. Making it based on server is unjust to FC's forcing them to look for more people to donate. If you leave and the housing price doesn't change until you've been out of the FC for at least 30days would mean people would literally have to leave for an entire month or more to manipulate the prices.

There could be a better way.

Also, I read quite some post about not being happy with pricing, and I haven't seen one/two questions to Square Enix.

What reason behind that you think you should rip off people hard earning gils?
Because the server having a huge gils flow, does that mean you should rip off harder?

People farm hard, craft hard to earn these gils, and you get this features out to suck them? That's worse than Shark Pawn....

What OP's suggestion is more reasonable pricing based on your FC size.

Current FF14 ARR is great game, but their IT failed badly to make people walk away ...
    Sad and shamed...

Honestly, at this point, I'd rather see a 'housing' option that is more like a settlement (or a completely-isolated area per person/FC) completely outside of the cities.

You get your land cheap/free, but you have to gather enough materials to actually build the entirety of the house.
I know people were joking about buying tents, but that'd actually be a good option; Get your land, gather some cloth, rope, etc. and set up a tent until you can start getting enough lumber/metal to build up a framework, then go from there...

Thanks Simply being on an older server doesn't mean you should be forced to do more work than anyone else. I see to many threads complaining but not offering a solution and unfortunately this is the only way i could see it working. Leave ur FC for a month if you don't want to pay.

Benefit's of a fc having a house the only thing i could see is increasing the mythology cap or reducing the cost of items bought with mythology. Give us a reason to spend this gil.

YoshiP himself said he expects people to afford it in 3months... it's got to have a crazy benefit to be worth 3month of time.

Buying a small house and getting the option to ''upgrade'' needs to be an option.
