What are the safe guards for FC member's

I have seen all the post's about the price of the housing which is extortionate to say the least.

But what safe guards will there be for the member's that have donated gil to buy a FC house.what is there to stop the FC leader kicking people from the FC, will they get there donation back.

What happens if the leader decides he's had enough playing and just quit's without passing the FC on.

What would happen if the leader gets banned rightly or wrongly.

There needs to be some safe guards for the member and not just have the FC leader dictating thing's

and that is why i am in an FC with 10 members, an open FC chest and no worry about anything. several thousand in gil and tons of crystals sit and my FC chest and people still ask me if they can have something from it. So we wait a few months to get a house.... just means we earned it

There are none, if you chip in to the 625 million land fee and one day your FC leader decides he is done and just quits, you will in fact forfeit your land and house after an unspecific amount of time according to the patch notes

The safeguards are: Screen your FC as much as they screen you, play only with friends and/or quality people. Step outside that circle at your own risk.

Same as it's always been.

I fully agree that the housing prices tempt one to step outside that circle. That's part of the problem.

Yeah you might have a point real life might happen but it wouldn't bother me real life always takes priority over anything in game but any decent fc leader would hand over leadership if they decided another game was better and again if they were a dick why would i give them my money?.

@OP: it's YOUR choice if you give your FC some gil, stop looking for someone to compensate you if you make a bad decision.

False sense of security: you have no way of knowing if the others in the FC are able to secure their PCs and not get their account stolen. If they do and the thief empties your FC chest it's very unlikely SE will compensate you, they haven't in the past.
