Can the unsub and quit this game crew help me out here?
We have 2 white mages, 2 paladins and 2 bards in our coil grp + a black mage and monk, so... we'll never ever use more than lv 1 limit ever again because we just happen to have chosen to play those specs and play together. It's not that I don't get the intention (you want all classes to be equally wanted) but that's just not gonna happen, here's why:
1. Guys like us - we have our main jobs and we'll stick with them, nobody is gonna trash his/her almost full raidgeared toon to reroll a less liked class so we can fill limit faster - bascially you're hurting people for no reason.
2. Random groups in need of tanks and healers will take what's available - should that not be diverse it smply won't matter, 2 bards for ADS for example will still be wanted by many because it is the easiest setup to play - basically punishing people for not wanting o wait around until you have 8 able guys with different jobs in grp.
If you don't want people to stack one or the other dps simply adjust your weird rule to "starting from 3 of the same class blabla" but the way it is now it's just dumb and hurting all kinds of people.
We don't know how slow the bar will fill so getting upset about it with a mere 22 hours left is pointless. Just the fact that all the jobs perform a different niche roll in a party situation should make you want to bring as much variety as you can. Warrior will lower damage dealt by the monster and increase damage of plds and warriors. Scholar and whitemage work together beautifully so you should take one of each without even considering limit break. Drg buffs bard's damage so they make a good pair. Blm is the highest single target and aoe damage dealer so it's clear why you'd want one of them. Summoner is able to continually deal damage to a target while burst damaging another (Twintania and Conflag is what I'm thinking of) so that is a plus. Monk is the only one that hasn't been a clear choice to bring to a party because it does blunt damage resistance down, but there are no other blunt damage classes. Maybe with the nerf to bard, people will bring a monk instead of two bards for silence.
My point is that you are going to have a lot better party synergy if you don't have repeat jobs simply because they all function slightly different. Limit Break filling faster is just a plus.
