Ok, first i am going to start by saying this isn't a troll thread, nor is it a bitch piss and moan thread. This will most likely be a tl;dr thread, but i have been on vacation and havent had a chance to reply to threads or post my own, so here it goes:

It's funny, for a while, well before the 'Letter from the Producer Live' aired mentioning the loot lockout for crystal tower, there was thread after thread about how people were pissed that they couldn't spam coil, and how they would take a loot lockout just to be able to run it as much as they wanted. SE listened, sorta in giving us the option of running the Crystal Tower as much as we want, but only being able to receive one item a week. Now that the live letter is done, there is thread after thread of "How dare SE lock us out of loot for CT"

I have to sit back and laugh. All these The Sky is Falling... thread that have popped up regarding loot lockouts, FC housing costs, and nerfs are getting out of hand.

Lets take this one item at a time:
  • CT Loot Lockout and 8 man parties- A lot of players asked for something end game that they can do over and over to help FC member gear for endgame and even said a loot lockout was fine, they just wanted something to do to help there members, and SE listened (How dare they!) Just because it isn't the instance that was requested, its still an instance that gives you the chance to gear up secondary classes and help out your FC members get ready for coil, but because it isn't exactly what you wanted, its wrong and SE should let you run it as much as you want, collect all the gear, in a few days so what...you can sit in the forums and bitch that 2.1 sucks cause there nothing to do? *laughs* As for the part where you can't make a full 24 man raid party...yeah i have nothing for this, hope SE fixes this in the future...
  • Nerfs- Do they suck? Yes, some classes needed the skills that were nerfed or taken away. did it completely break the game? No. it just means that now certain classes aren't gods anymore and might have to work with other classes to accomplish a goal. (Again, How dare SE expect people to work together in an multi-player cooperative game)
  • Gobbue Mount-Seriously? Are we really whining that they are now making a separate gobbue mount available to the masses? its a mount...*smdh*
  • FC Housing Cost- Ok here is i think SE went slightly overboard. Alot of MMOs there are people that tend to excel at certain things and they exploit the less skilled/unlucky players and take them for pretty much every gil they have and can horde millions upon millions of gil and afford some on the obscene prices. Me and my little 8 man FC can't even afford the smallest house in the ghetto, and i was pissed for about a minute cause i know how had some of them worked to help scrape together everything they could only to be slapped in the face. But after skyping with most of them, they told me "SO we don't get one right away, when we do, we will know we earned it" i love my FC.

There is so much to do in the game come Tuesday (Late Monday if we happen to get lucky) that regardless of the above things, me and my FC have many months of enjoyment left in the game while we work on getting or FC house. Nothing that is mentioned about is game changing, or soooooo bad that we feel we need to quit. If you think SE screwed you because they didnt cater to you every desire, I am sorry, sometimes life sucks. For those of us sticking around, Let's Git 'r DUN!
