PS3 request - option to adjust skill animations

Sometimes I play on the PS3, and I would love for a way to adjust the skill animations. On pc you can turn them off for different groups, on ps3 dungeons can be blinding because this isn't an option. Imagine tanking where you are right in the monsters face and fire, ice, etc is going off in your face it gets very bright and hard to see what is going on.

Do you mean skill effects?
You should have the option in your character configuration menu. I have it there on the PS3.

Character Configuration -> Control Settings -> Character
Battle Effects Settings

Maybe I wasn't looking in the correct place, I went threw the whole menu and did not see the settings pc has. Will look again after game comes back, thanks for the information maybe I won't be blinded anymore.
