Cure III is still garbage, the radius needs 2 more yards on it and the mana reduction proc is too random to rely on when you actually need it.

They should either make the proc last 1-2 min or make it 50% proc chance and make the proc last 5-7 sec instead to make it a true combo move. (Swiftcast -> C2 -> C3)
Make it last more alone would reeally help. Once or twice I casted just the moment it went off <.< So frustrating, especially considering standard delay.
Downed turns 1 - 5 as per normal while making good use of the new Medica II AND I found Cure III very handy in turn 5 during fireball and dive bomb phases.
The change to Medica II really aren't that bad.
I agree that Cure III still needs a lot of work, but it's still usable in certain situations.

I can't wait to get home and check out cure III. I can think of a few places it will come in handy in coil for my group. I'll probably just use it when it procs, but thats better than using it never.Downed turns 1 - 5 as per normal while making good use of the new Medica II AND I found Cure III very handy in turn 5 during fireball and dive bomb phases.

I am not sure what to think of the medica II change.
hehe yup, it's only efficient to use it when it procs, unless it is a life or death situation :P.

The changes are not as drastic as I thought they would be.
Granted, I only have experience with Ultima HM. Medica II can be kept up nicely at all times without getting too much aggro. Even if I use Medica to top people off after an incoming AoE. Still not happy with the MP usage and healing lost in such situations though.
The problem I have with Cure III still is in hectic fights when people are NOT forced to stack up, it's really hard to keep an overview of who is where and if a Cure III would be wasted or not.
It does, but the problem is, does it top people like it did before? In my experience, far from it. I mean, even REgen itself can't be upept a lot, but far from topping alone, and imho that niche of low potency-long lasting HoT was alraedy filled by that and there was no need for an aoe one. Especially if you count Regen is insta cast while MedicaII....

No it doesn't - it really is more like a buffer I keep up at all times. But I also threw regen on some of the dps that got hit during laser phases. I totally agree with you but the only option we have right now, is to adapt. It does, but the problem is, does it top people like it did before? In my experience, far from it. So far it's not as bad as I thought it would be. Doing Coil tomorrow so I'll see how that goes. I see Medica II more like an AoE regen that I try to keep on everyone. The burst is definitely gone. I think it just keeps the group overall a bit more stable.
We did Titan HM for two FC members. I found myself spamming Medica I much more for stomps now where I would have used Medica II before. We had quite a few dead and the second healer was a new WHM there for his relic. I ended up out of mana 3 times and stomp got up to 8+ but we made it.
Also, still really concerned with potential MP Issues. It's ok if I can pop SoS on CD but not sure how it's going to look for T4 where I have to use shroud for transitions and can't have regen up during those either.

And yeah MP is really becoming a problem where it shouldn't be, in Pharos I ran out of mana a lot (and bard wouldn't even give song to me cause "na you casted shroud you're fine --'') and that's really frustrating.
