Patch Notes: Player Commendation Rewards

Used to be you were friendly and sociable and made an effort to play your job well purely in order to make a good impression to your fellow players in the hopes of sparking a friendship or in the hope to be remembered and called upon to do other content with people who liked you in the future, building a sense of community on the server.

Now it's just going through the motions in order to get points to buy a reskin of a tacky mount.

Or it's a free minion, barding, and mount as a reward for people acting like they've always acted: Nice and friendly.

Funny thread. How can you aim at something when the variable to get it is a vote from random other players?

Guildhests seem to be the best way to rack commendations up quickly (assuming you are pleasant and/or helpful), since they're incredibly short.

Gilded Magitek for me. I've only done a couple of dungeons since the patch, but have gone 2/3 votes so far every time.

My First 'Low Level' Duty Roulette, I got 3, then I got 2 in my Guildhest Roulette, and then 1 from another Low Level DR. Yes, I was Tanking it up Twice I gave Commendation to Healer, and once to another using Duty Roulette (L50 Bard doing low level Coperbell lol)

Why *not* vote? Sure, I suppose if everyone in the team was mean and nasty, but otherwise by not going ahead and voting (since it is free) it makes you out to almost be the one that's mean and nasty. I'm not asking this because I assume you do not vote, but just as a general question to those those that consider this point.

There was one time I accidentally didn't vote, and it was then that I found out it was optional. I collected my reward while still considering who to give it to and quickly found myself out of the instance without getting a chance to vote. I suppose it should have been obvious that it worked that way, but it was late and I wasn't thinking much about it.

If you queue up with someone, you cannot vote (period). I didn't vote for one instance that was a near failure due to incompetence on the parts of the three others (all 'supposedly' experienced players who had other jobs at 50, who were utter failures as DPS and Healer)....

How do you vote for people? Noticed I got one after CT and was embarrassed that I just left when there was some awesome healers. Does it automatically pop up? Because I entered with a friend so maybe that locked me out from voting or something.

If you queued in a partial party you cannot vote. Only people who queue solo can vote. A pop-up Notification will appear along with the Loot Notification saying 'Player Commendation'. Vote from there.

Do PvP solo. Do the most damage and get kills. Get commendations
