All housing, starts low, highest bidder wins.
Eg.
Free Company 1 bids 2.1mil
Free Company 2 bids 2.8mil
Free Company 3 bids 3.7mil
Free Company 3 wins, nobody bids higher.
WHY YOSHI?
(small house on non legacy server pricing as example)

I would prefer this method over the current one. Post liked.
I honestly thought this is how they were going to do it.

Because if it was a real auction they wouldn't be able to extract the necessary gil from the economy to balance it out and avoid collapse.
This housing system is a method to fix the server's economy.
A real auction wouldn't support that
Mew!
I have given up with the housing system. Its still in Beta phase. SE gonna see how much time they wasted developing this.
This just in... Weddings Patch coming up.
Probably expecting people to pay 30 or 50 RL Dollors too just like they did in XI.

Can't enjoy that either, SE doesnt like my sinful relation with my bf. Being gay is a no-no, but Roegadyns with lalafells is totally ok XD

I think housing for a FC is something to strive for. Not something everyone owns in a week. Also have positive balance on the economy.

It was announced as somthing like a reversed auction, what it really is.
It start with the highest price and go down.
How long would the auction be open for? Does everyone have to snag a house on Day 1 after the patch or you're SOL?
